Coscomm

Coscomm, a manufacturer of satellite and multi-mode communication equipment has selected Alster Communications, LLC as their representative for the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. Coscomm can utilize either Iridium or GlobalStar for voice, data and short burst data communications for public safety applications with the Federal, State, County and City organizations. Commercial end users can also use their equipment for voice and data transfer.

Connexion 24/7

Alster Communications, LLC is pleased to be selected by Connexion 24/7as their representative for the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. Michael Wright, formerly of Watson Dispatch Furniture, is now contracted with TechTell. They support 24/7 environments including public safety, utility, transportation and any intensive care facility working multiple shifts. The technical product includes a Network Element Monitoring package the constantly watches for IP address security, failure notices and alarms.

Relm Wireless

Relm Wireless will introduce the new KNG VHF portable in 2008. This new platform will begins its life as a VHF portable radio capable of analog and P-25 digital communications. Following this introduction will be a UHF version, a P-25 Trunking software upgrade then a 700/800 MHz version. Alster Communications, LLC, and our customers have been waiting a long time for this product and will be very interested to see how it performs.

JPS Communications

Over the summer Raytheon/JPS announced a new relationship with Cisco. This relationship features the ACU-2000, IP based Interoperability product. This product is needed by Hospitals, Schools and other IP based communication centers that need Interoperability between their departments and outside public safety agencies. The ACU-2000 is only available through designated JPS IP dealers. Please contact your local dealer or Alster for additional information.

Bird Electronics and TXRX Systems award Alster Communications, LLC Rep of the Year!. Thanks to the purchases of our customers and great product from Bird/TXRX, our territory produced significantly improved sales over 2006. Alster continues to be in debt to our customers for buying the products we represent and creating income for our families.

Aeroflex awards Alster Communications, LLC for three years of above quota performance. This would not happen if our customers chose to buy other products. So thankyou to our customers for buying Aeroflex products and to Aeroflex for having products that engage the end user.

Times Microwave

Alster Communications, LLC was awarded Rep of the Year for the second year in a row. This is the first time a rep has repeated as rep of the year in two consecutive years. This would only happen because our customers chose Times LMR cable over other products. For this we are very grateful. Thank you to also to Times for having the products that our customers needs. And finally, thank you to our distributors who stock Times product and make it immediately available to our local customers.

ACES a Big Success

The Alster Communications Electronic Showcase or ACES was held in Salem, Oregon, Issaquah, Washington and Anchorage, Alaska drawing over 220 customers. There were a total of nine technical seminars, thirteen display tables full of the latest and greatest gadgets and over 80 prize winning customers. Please mark your calendar for October 6/8/9, 2008 when we will be in Boise, Idaho, Helena, Montana and Spokane, Washington for our 28th year in a row of bringing technical education to our customers.
